A banda irá lançar o seu novo álbum no dia 9 de março. O material se chamará The World Is A Thorn. O álbum foi produzido por Aaron Sprinkle(Acceptance, Anberlin, The Almost) e mixado por Jason Suecof(All That Remains, Trivium). De acordo com a banda, este será o mais pesado e melódico álbum da banda. O Demon Hunter também dá as boas vindas a Ryan Helm o novo guitarrista da banda.
